Senior Architect
Tony K. Cheung has over twenty
years of experience in the field of architecture. As Senior Architect, Mr.
Cheung is involved with the design of the Pasadena Community Church, The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, various assisted living
facilities, and condominium projects.
Before joining Wedding +
Stephenson Architects, Inc., Mr. Cheung was a partner of an
architectural/engineering firm in Maryland. His past projects in Maryland
and Delaware include Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Hampton Inn and Suites,
Holiday Inns, About Faces Salon & Spa, Nanticoke Cardiology, River Place
Condominium, Subways, Pizza Hut, Clairmont Shopping Center, Bayshore Plaza,
Green Turtle Restaurant and Bar, Goodwill Store, Halpern Eye Center, Bahamas
Mama’s Restaurant/Condominium, Overnite Trucking, and Hertrich Auto
Dealership.
Mr. Cheung is very down-to-earth,
and loves to design efficient and cost-conscious projects that reflect the
interests of the clients. His philosophy is that nice-looking and
environmentally-friendly buildings do not equal to high cost of
construction.
A native of Hong Kong, Mr. Cheung
earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma. He is
also a certificate holder of the National Council of Architectural
Registration Board. He is a licensed architect in the State of Florida, as
well as Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania,
and Alabama.
